In all cases, these documents are very specific and must be technically correct. Their style and the terminology must be typical for the type of document and the sector of industry. If these requirements are not met, you will fail in convincing prospective customers of your competence and in achieving your goals in that market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"technical-translator-with-specialisation\">Technical translator with specialisation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There is no question that the aforementioned tasks require specialists. This applies above all to the translators involved. For major cross-border projects, all documents must be prepared in at least two languages and translated in a timely manner. The translations must be technically and professionally correct, the technical terminology must be consistent and customary in the sector of industry. After graduating from high school, I studied architecture for a few semesters but then decided on translation and intercultural science. After my master&#8217;s degree (Diplom) as a translator, I specialised in architecture and civil engineering.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My professional career began at the Real Estate and Construction Management Office (<a class=\"two\" href=\"https:\/\/lbb.rlp.de\/de\/startseite\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">LBB<\/a>) in Landau. First as an employee, later as a freelance translator, I have been working for more than 25 years for various LBB offices until today. Many engineering and architectural offices also have relied on my services over the years. I have a good knowledge of civil engineering and, above all, a great deal of experience in translating the documents mentioned below. To keep my knowledge up to date I regularly attend training events organised by our professional association and my clients.
